Help find a cure for Parkinson’s!
Parkinson’s is the fastest growing neurological disease in the world. In the UK, someone will be diagnosed with it every two hours. Sadly, there is no cure so the effect of being told that you have Parkinson’s is life-changing for the affected individual as well as their friends, family and carers.
Several people in Brent Knoll have Parkinson’s including Julie Evans, who was diagnosed in 2019. She is a close friend of Andy Manning who is taking part in an epic 3,000-mile cycling challenge across the USA to raise as much money as possible for the charity Cure Parkinson’s which focuses on urgently finding a cure for this life-changing condition.
Please help us say “kNOll” to Parkinson’s by supporting our fundraising events.
Our principal fundraising activity in aid of Cure Parkinson’s is a cross-USA cycling challenge by Brent Knoll resident Andy Manning.
To support Andy’s fundraising efforts by making a donation (large or small), please visit his JustGiving page here: https://www.justgiving.com/page/andymanning-parkinsons?utm_medium=FR&utm_source=CL
